The MLB Pipeline has made interim updates to each team’s Top 30 Prospects lists, taking into account recent performances and changes in player rankings. These adjustments come after the Draft but before the signing deadline on July 28, aiming to provide more current information ahead of the Trade Deadline on July 31.
According to the report, “We’ve reranked every team’s top 10 and then made room for any players who deserved to jump up or move down 10 or more spaces on their respective team rankings.”
Highlights from the American League East include a pitching surge in Toronto’s system, with Trey Yesavage now entrenched in the Top 100. The Orioles have new entrants in their top 10 with Esteban Mejia and Nate George. Carson Williams retains his top spot among Rays prospects after a strong performance at Triple-A Durham.
In Boston, Roman Anthony remains the No. 1 prospect, while international signees Franklin Arias and Jhostynxon Garcia are emerging as key hitters. The Yankees’ updated list sees pitchers occupying seven of the top ten spots.
Moving to other divisions, notable changes include Gabriel Gonzalez’s rise in Minnesota’s rankings and JR Ritchie’s climb in Atlanta’s list following his Futures Game start. San Diego’s farm system is under scrutiny ahead of potential trades, with pitchers making up a significant portion of their top prospects.
The updates will be finalized with a comprehensive rerank incorporating the 2025 Draft class later this year.
