Columbia University women’s soccer players Maia Tabion and Justina Bitzer have been named to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women’s All-East Region list. The announcement was made earlier this week.
Tabion, who was a First Team All-Ivy selection in 2025, received Second Team All-East Region honors. She led the Ivy League in assists with six and ranked among the top ten in points, recording a team-high of twelve, as well as in shots taken. Her performance included scoring and assisting within a minute during Columbia’s 3-0 win over Yale, contributing three points in a 2-1 victory against Fordham, and scoring an important goal in the team’s win over Brown. Tabion played a significant role in helping Columbia reach the postseason for the third consecutive year.
Bitzer, also a First Team All-Ivy honoree, was selected for Third Team All-East Region. As a defender, she started every match during the season and led Columbia’s defensive line to multiple shutouts. Bitzer’s leadership and consistency were noted as key factors in securing Columbia’s postseason appearance. She also assisted on a goal during the Lions’ win over Fordham.
The Columbia women’s soccer program shared updates about these achievements through their social media channels and official website.
