Columbia men’s basketball senior guard Kenny Noland has been named Ivy League Player of the Week, according to an announcement from the conference on Monday.

Noland scored 24 points and recorded a career-high nine assists, along with four rebounds in last Tuesday’s game against Stony Brook. During the final minutes, he scored eight consecutive points for Columbia as the team overcame a 14-point deficit with less than three minutes remaining to force overtime. Despite the effort, Stony Brook won the game 77-73, ending Columbia’s eight-game winning streak. This marked Noland’s fifth game this season scoring at least 20 points. He also made all nine of his free throw attempts.

Columbia, now holding a 9-2 record, will play California on Sunday at 5 p.m. ET.
