Former Poly Prep Country Day School star Gio Colasante took the mound for Harvard as the Crimson fell 5-1 to the California Baptist Lancers in an NCAA Division I baseball game at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 13.

The contest, played at James W. Totman Stadium, marked the Crimson’s initial meeting this season with the Lancers.

Colasante pitched five innings, recording four walks and striking out four batters.

Harvard is set to face the California Baptist Lancers again on Saturday, March 14, with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m. at James W. Totman Stadium.
