Grace Meng, U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 6th district, addressed a range of topics in a series of posts on her official social media account between February 20 and February 22, 2026.

On February 20, Meng shared an introductory message with her followers: “My staff had questions…I had answers! Get to Know Grace: Part 1 https://t.co/F0gbB7TCAR”.

Later that day, she commented on a significant legal development involving former President Trump’s trade policies. She wrote: “My full statement on the Supreme Court striking down President Trump’s tariffs https://t.co/1nXJyzr6du”.

On February 22, Meng issued a public safety notice regarding severe weather conditions in Queens. She stated: “A huge winter storm is expected to hit Queens-NYC tomorrow and continue into Monday. A blizzard warning has been issued. Please be prepared and take appropriate precautions. Safety must be the top priority. https://t.co/MWUj7r6qWj”.

Meng has served in Congress since replacing Gary Ackerman in 2013 and previously represented her community in the New York State Assembly from 2009 to 2012. Born in New York City in 1975, she resides in Queens and holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Yeshiva University.
