U.S. Congresswoman Grace Meng, who represents New York’s 6th district, has recently addressed her constituents through a series of social media posts covering topics from federal agency assistance to community solidarity and local businesses.

On December 15, 2025, Meng posted about constituent services offered by her office, writing: “Patiently waiting for help with her IRS case If you need assistance with federal agencies like the IRS, VA, Social Security, and USCIS, give my office a call at (718) 358-MENG!”

Later that day, Meng responded to recent national rhetoric regarding Muslim Americans. In a post dated December 15, 2025, she stated: “I wholeheartedly reject the demonization and scapegoating of the Muslim American community, who are our neighbors, coworkers, veterans, and fellow citizens. The rhetoric we’ve seen from elected officials over the past few days is dangerous and un-American. We must stand united”

The following day on December 16, Meng highlighted a visit to a local business in Woodside: “I stopped by Ngatso Cafe in Woodside this week! Such a cool spot for Tibetan coffee, pastries, and all kinds of unique goods.”

Grace Meng has represented New York’s 6th District in Congress since 2013 after serving in the New York State Assembly from 2009 to 2012. She succeeded Gary Ackerman as the district’s representative. Born in New York City in 1975 and currently residing in Queens at age 47, Meng holds degrees from the University of Michigan (BA) and Yeshiva University (JD).
