New York City FC will face the Chicago Fire on September 14, 2025, with several key players unavailable for selection. Head Coach Pascal Jansen confirmed that Malachi Jones, Keaton Parks, and Nico Cavallo are sidelined due to leg injuries. Andres Perea will also miss the match because of yellow card accumulation.

Jansen’s squad adjustments come as the team prepares for a crucial fixture in the season. The game is available for streaming on MLS Season Pass via the Apple TV app, which provides coverage of all regular-season, playoff, and Leagues Cup matches.
