Former St. Raymond High School for Boys standout Malachi Smith contributed as the UConn Huskies defeated the Illinois Fighting Illini 71-62 in the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, April 4.

The matchup was held at Lucas Oil Stadium at 6:10 p.m.

UConn is scheduled to play again at Lucas Oil Stadium on Monday, April 6, at 8:50 p.m.
