On Saturday, May 24, former Gates Chili High School standout Michael Ribis’ current collegiate team the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears won 6-1 against the Catawba Indians in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Newman Park at 6 p.m. and was the third matchup against the Catawba Indians in the tournament.

The Lenoir-Rhyne Bears’ next game will take place on Friday, May 30 at 11 a.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex.
