FOIA Request to CUNY Queens College regarding Chinese National students on June 16, 2025.

The request, sent under the New York Freedom of Information Law, aims to obtain specific data related to these students’ enrollment and scholarship details.
The request includes several key points:
1. A list or documents detailing all current students who are Chinese Nationals, along with their respective departments of study. If such information is protected, a total count of these students by department is requested.
2. Documentation or lists showing all current Chinese National students, specifying the amount and source of each scholarship they receive.
3. A separate list identifying recipients of scholarships affiliated with the Chinese Scholarship Council if not included in the previous request. If covered in point two, clarification on which scholarships satisfy this requirement is sought.
4. Policies or procedures outlining how the university monitors its students, including Chinese Nationals, to safeguard intellectual property and other confidential information.
