Eileen Xu, a senior defender for the New York University women’s soccer team, has been named to the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Third Team Scholar All-American. This recognition adds to her list of postseason honors.

Xu was also selected for the USC Second Team Scholar All-East Region. Throughout the 2025 season, she played a key role in helping NYU’s women’s soccer team reach its third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. Starting in 16 out of 18 matches, Xu contributed to the team’s defensive record, limiting opponents to an average of 1.05 goals per game and achieving nine shutouts.

Earlier in the postseason, Xu received several other honors: she was named to the All-University Athletic Association (UAA) First Team, earned a spot on the USC First Team All-Region IV, and was recognized by College Sports Communicators (CSC) as Academic All-District.
