The Columbia women’s tennis team will host the Columbia Quad this weekend, marking its final home event of the fall season. The tournament is scheduled to take place from Friday through Sunday at the Philip & Cheryl Milstein Family Tennis Center in New York.

Columbia will compete against App State, Hofstra, and Princeton in a hidden dual format. In this setup, teams play one set of doubles with no advantage and singles matches are best-of-three sets. Unlike spring dual matches, no team scores will be recorded; instead, all results are credited individually.

All matches are planned for outdoor courts unless weather forces play indoors. Spectators are welcome to attend, but there will be no video coverage or live statistics available during the event.

The schedule includes an opening match between Columbia and App State on Friday at 10 a.m. Saturday’s slate features Hofstra vs. App State at 9 a.m., followed by Princeton vs. Columbia at 4 p.m., with indoor alternatives if necessary. Sunday concludes with Princeton facing App State at 9 a.m., and Hofstra playing Columbia at 1 p.m.

Information about rosters, schedules, and statistics for each visiting team can be found on their respective websites: App State (Roster | Schedule | Stats), Hofstra (Roster | Schedule | Stats), and Princeton (Roster | Schedule | Stats).

Recently, three members of the Lions had notable performances at the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, North Carolina. Gayathri Krishnan, ranked No. 108 in the ITA Preseason poll, defeated No. 59 Nevena Carton of Wake Forest. Sophomore Malak El Allami secured two wins and nearly claimed a third before narrowly losing to Alice Ferlito of Princeton. Sophomore Amber Yin earned a straight-sets victory over Patrycja Niewiadomska of Northern Arizona.
