Columbia women’s golf welcomes four first-year athletes for upcoming season

Columbia University’s women’s golf team has announced the addition of four new first-year athletes to its 2025-26 roster. Head coach Amy Weeks introduced Bridget Chantharath, Camille Thai, Kristina Xu, and Emily Zeng as the newest members of the program.

Bridget Chantharath joins from Northwood High School in Irvine, California. She was a four-year letterwinner and made history as the first girls golfer at her school to qualify for state championships, where she placed fourth as a freshman. Chantharath is a four-time First Team All-League selection, two-time team captain, and has been named Team MVP four times. She also qualified for national events such as the USGA Girls Jr. Championship and the USGA Women’s Amateur Championship.

Camille Thai comes from Los Altos High School in Los Altos, California. Thai was a four-year letterwinner and served as captain for three years. Her achievements include winning the 2023 California Junior Girls State Championship and being named SCVAL All-League Player of the Year in 2025. She is also a former IMG Junior World Champion.

Kristina Xu attended Claremont High School in Claremont, California. Xu earned Palomares League MVP honors three times between 2022 and 2024 and won several junior tournaments including the AJGA Fortinet Girls Invitational in 2024. She competed at both the U.S. Women’s Amateur and U.S. Girls Junior Championships.

Emily Zeng arrives from Beijing SMIC Private School in China. Zeng is a two-time American Junior Golf Association winner with top finishes on the CLPGA tour in 2025 and claimed victory at the 2024 China National Championship with an individual score of 22-under par.
