Several members of the Columbia Nursing community have been selected for induction into the 2025 Class of Fellows by the American Academy of Nursing (AAN). The induction will take place at AAN’s annual event scheduled for October 16-18, 2025, in Washington, DC.
The new class of fellows includes faculty and alumni from Columbia Nursing. According to the AAN, this group represents a broad range of backgrounds and geographic locations, with fellows coming from 42 states, the District of Columbia, and 12 countries.
Academy President Linda D. Scott, PhD, stated in an AAN press release: “I cannot emphasize enough at this pivotal time in history the vital importance of recognizing this extraordinary and sizeable group of nurse leaders. With rich and varied backgrounds from practice, policy, research, entrepreneurship, and academia, they have been instrumental in using nursing’s holistic approach to improve the health of patients and communities throughout the world.”
Columbia Nursing continues its commitment to supporting its community members and upholding all civil rights laws without engaging in illegal preferences or discrimination.
