The Columbia men’s swimming and diving team is in third place with 106 points after the first night of the 2026 Ivy League Championships at DeNunzio Pool, Princeton University. Princeton and Yale are tied for first with 120 points each after two events.
The opening night featured the 200 medley relay and the 800 freestyle relay. Columbia’s 200 medley relay team—Isaac Beers, Joshua Corn, Brian Lee, and Zion James—secured third place with a time of 1:25.33 to earn the bronze medal.
In the 800 freestyle relay, Gian Santos, Derek Hitchens, Kyle Won, and Adam Wu set a new program record for Columbia by finishing in 6:22.02.

Day two will begin with preliminaries for the 500 freestyle at 11 a.m., followed by finals at 6 p.m. The team’s qualified divers will prepare for the NCAA Zone Diving competition scheduled for March 9.
