The Columbia lacrosse team will face No. 20/21 Princeton in an Ivy League matchup at Rocco B. Commisso Soccer Stadium, with the first draw scheduled for 1 p.m. on April 10.

The game holds special significance as it coincides with Senior Day, during which Columbia will honor its five seniors: Riya Batra, Serena Hong, Ali Surace, Cordelia Flemming, and Cecelia Messner. The ceremony will take place following the conclusion of Saturday’s game.

Columbia is coming off a non-conference loss to UMass earlier in the week, falling 20-9 at Garber Field. The Lions matched UMass early in the contest but saw their opponents pull away in the third quarter. Maddie Brogan and Anna Becker led Columbia offensively with three goals each.

Princeton enters Saturday’s contest with a record of 5-6 after a close double-overtime loss to Penn. The Tigers have recorded a win over No. 18 Penn State this season and most of their losses have come against ranked teams. Last year, Princeton finished with a strong overall record and reached the NCAA Tournament before being eliminated by North Carolina in the third round.

After facing Princeton, Columbia will play its final away game of the season next Saturday against Dartmouth at noon.
