Columbia baseball will host Princeton for a three-game series at Robertson Field at Satow Stadium during Alumni Weekend, with games scheduled for April 11 and 12. The series begins with a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 11:30 a.m., followed by the finale on Sunday at noon.

The event holds special significance as Columbia welcomes back the 1976 Ivy League Champions to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their season. A ceremony honoring the team is planned after the first game on Saturday. All three games will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Columbia enters the weekend following an 11-5 win over Fordham, highlighted by Cole Fellows’ two home runs and Jack Kail’s perfect hitting performance. The Lions’ bullpen contributed strong innings, with Koby Seelig earning his first collegiate win in his debut start. Columbia has won three of its last five matchups against Princeton and holds an all-time record of 112-128-2 against them.

Princeton arrives with a record of seven wins and twenty losses overall, including two conference victories. Their season includes notable non-conference wins over No. 17 NC State and Duke. Will Robbins leads Princeton offensively in home runs, RBI, and doubles, while Justin Kim anchors their pitching staff with a team-low earned run average.

Offensively, Columbia ranks among Ivy League leaders in batting average (.266), home runs (21), total bases (366), and hits (249). Jack Kail stands out as one of the toughest hitters to strike out nationally, recently moving up to ninth place on Columbia’s career RBI list. Senior Cole Fellows continues his success after winning last year’s Blair Bat award for highest batting average in conference play; he was also named captain of the Lou Gehrig Community Impact Team.

After this weekend’s series, Columbia is set to travel to Fairfield for a midweek game on Tuesday.
