On Friday, March 13, former Fontbonne Hall Academy standout Noelle Polanco and her current team, the Charleston Golden Eagles, were defeated 79-53 by the IUP Crimson Hawks in the NCAA Division II Tournament.
The matchup occurred at 5 p.m. at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.
Polanco recorded three points and collected one rebound over nine minutes of play.
St. John’s softball secured a series sweep over Seton Hall with a decisive victory at Red Storm Field. Key offensive performances helped propel them to a strong finish as they prepare for their next matchup against Wagner.
These former City of New York City area high school standouts will be active on Monday, April 27.
Avery Brown will join St. John’s men’s basketball after four years as starting point guard at Columbia University. Head Coach Rick Pitino praised Brown’s experience as an asset for next season’s roster.
