CCNY women’s basketball ends season with CUNYAC first-round loss to Lehman

The City College of New York women’s basketball team ended its 2025–26 season with a loss to Lehman College in the first round of the CUNYAC tournament. The game, held at The APEX in the Bronx, saw CCNY fall 94–55 to the No. 3-seeded Lehman squad.

CCNY finished the season with a 6–18 overall record and a 4–10 mark in conference play. This represents their best finish since the 2018-19 season.

Lehman took control early, leading 25–11 after the first quarter and maintaining their advantage throughout. The Beavers struggled offensively, shooting just 29.6% from the field compared to Lehman’s 48.1%. From three-point range, Lehman shot 46.4%.

Senior Joscelyn Ramos and junior Ashley Colon each scored 12 points for CCNY. Freshman Blessings Joseph-Pascall contributed 11 points and eight rebounds, while sophomore Ashley Subervi had a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore Amanda Fisher also recorded a double-double, finishing with four points and twelve rebounds.

Lehman’s offense was led by Heaven Figueroa, who scored 24 points on nine-of-thirteen shooting. Sage Fanelli and Isabela Araujo each added fifteen points, while Nelson Asamoah contributed twelve points and seven rebounds. Lehman dominated inside with forty-two points in the paint and twenty-six fast break points.
