The City College of New York (CCNY) Department of Athletics has announced a partnership with Influxer, a company that provides co-branded apparel featuring student-athlete names and numbers. This collaboration aims to give CCNY student-athletes access to a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) merchandise marketplace, allowing them to enhance their personal brands and entrepreneurial skills.

With this initiative, fans will be able to buy officially licensed gear personalized for individual athletes. Each student-athlete at CCNY will have the chance to set up a digital storefront where customized apparel can be purchased.

Influxer will also offer educational resources and training in marketing, entrepreneurship, and personal branding. The goal is to help student-athletes make the most of NIL opportunities during their time at college and beyond.

“Influxer is thrilled to partner with the Beavers and help create an NIL opportunity that truly benefits everyone involved. Duane Bailey and the administration have been intentional every step of the way, not just focusing on the final product but also valuing the real experience this gives their student-athletes. It’s clear they care about development on and off the field, and we’re excited to support that vision.”

Influxer currently works with more than 300 colleges and universities across the country. The company will manage CCNY’s online marketplace as well as order fulfillment, customer service, and creative projects involving both student-athletes and CCNY Athletics.

Updates about when fans can begin purchasing co-branded NIL apparel from the online store will be shared through CCNY Athletics’ digital platforms.
