On November 9, 2025, Chang relayed an update from the New York City Department of Sanitation regarding Veterans Day. He posted, “No Trash, Curbside Composting or Recycling Collection on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2025 The New York CityDepartment of Sanitation announced that in observance of Veterans Day, therewill be NO trash, curbside composting nor recycling collection on November 11, 2025.”

The following day, on November 10, he recognized a major milestone for the United States Marine Corps. In his message he wrote: “Wishing a happy 250th birthday to the United States Marine Corps honoring the courage, commitment, and sacrifice of all who have served. #USMCBirthday #SemperFi #ThankYouMarines https://t.co/lHxwstA6uu”

On November 11, Chang addressed concerns about seasonal expenses by sharing information about state assistance programs. He stated: “Struggling with high winter utility bills? NYS programs can help protect your services. Visit https://t.co/QbUn0C6sOe https://t.co/szlg0mN4Yp” These programs are designed to help residents maintain access to essential utilities during periods of increased usage and financial strain.
