Adriano Espaillat, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 13th district, has been active on social media, sharing various updates and opinions. Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, Espaillat has served in Congress since 2017 after replacing Charles Rangel. He previously held positions in the New York State Assembly and Senate.

On February 20, 2025, Espaillat announced that “@SingHarlem se unirá a la celebración del Mes de la Historia Afroamericana de este año en el Apollo Stages en el Victoria.” He encouraged participation in this celebration of African American culture and talent.

In another post on the same day, Espaillat expressed his views on former President Trump by stating “Trump no es rey y esto no es una monarquía.”

Later that day, he extended gratitude to participants of an event celebrating Dominican Heritage Month. Espaillat wrote: “Thank you to everyone who joined us at this year’s Dominicans on the Hill! Your participation and excitement made the Seventh Annual Event celebrating Dominican Heritage Month unforgettable.”
