Adriano Espaillat, U.S. Congressman representing New York’s 13th district since 2017, shared a series of posts on July 22, 2025, addressing various topics from political commentary to caucus positions.
On his official Twitter account, Espaillat posted: “OBSERVA Mike Johnson responde a Mike Johnson sobre los archivos de Epstein” (July 22, 2025).
Later that day, he commented on the position of the Hispanic Caucus in both English and Spanish. At 19:24 UTC, he wrote: “Members of the @HispanicCaucus have been clear from the beginning: it’s not about criminals.” He reiterated this message at 19:55 UTC with a Spanish version: “Los miembros del @HispanicCaucus han sido claros desde el principio: no se trata de criminales.”
Espaillat has served in Congress since replacing Charles Rangel in 2017. Prior to his tenure in Washington, he was a member of the New York State Assembly from 1997 to 2010 and served in the New York State Senate between 2011 and 2016. Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic in 1954 and now residing in Manhattan, Espaillat graduated from Queens College of the City University of New York with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1978.
