Adriano Espaillat, U.S. Congressman representing New York’s 13th district since 2017, posted a series of messages on his social media account on September 4, 2025, addressing topics related to health and the release of files associated with Jeffrey Epstein.
In a post made at 15:16 UTC, Espaillat wrote, “El rostro de la salud ha hablado”.
Later that day, at 18:32 UTC, he questioned former President Donald Trump’s stance regarding the Epstein case by posting, “Why is Trump so scared of releasing the Epstein files? https://t.co/U7oEg9R1wk”. He reiterated this question in Spanish at 19:16 UTC with the message, “¿Por qué Trump tiene tanto miedo de publicar los archivos de Epstein?”.
Espaillat has served as a member of Congress for New York’s 13th District since replacing Charles Rangel in 2017. Before his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the New York State Assembly from 1997 to 2010 and served in the New York State Senate from 2011 to 2016. Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic in 1954 and currently residing in Manhattan, Espaillat graduated from Queens College, City University of New York in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
