Adriano Espaillat, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 13th district since 2017, shared several posts on social media regarding events and recognitions for Women’s History Month. Espaillat has a background in public service dating back to his tenure in the New York State Assembly from 1997 to 2010 and the New York State Senate from 2011 to 2016.
On March 26, 2025, Espaillat invited followers to join an event celebrating Women’s History Month.
Later that day, Espaillat highlighted Carey King as an exemplary figure during Women’s History Month. “March is Women’s History Month, and I want to highlight strong women in NY-13. Carey King is the Director of Uptown Grand Central, contributing to the community and breaking barriers for women across the state.” He expressed gratitude for her contributions.
In another post on March 26, Espaillat reiterated his acknowledgment of Carey King’s work in Spanish. This recognition emphasized her role in community contribution and barrier-breaking efforts for women statewide.
