Adriano Espaillat, U.S. Congressman representing New York’s 13th district since 2017, shared updates on his recent activities and community engagements through a series of posts on social media between February 13 and 14, 2026.

On February 13, Espaillat expressed gratitude towards the City University of New York School of Medicine for its commitment to student development. In his post, he stated: “Gracias a @CUNYMed por garantizar que nuestros estudiantes de primer nivel adquieran las habilidades, la empatĂ­a y la experiencia necesarias para ayudar a mejorar los resultados de salud y la longevidad en nuestras comunidades. Fue increĂ­ble reunirme hoy con el decano Green y”.

Later that day, Espaillat highlighted an upcoming media appearance and ongoing policy efforts. He wrote: “Siempre es un placer conversar con @billritter7. No se pierdan nuestro segmento este domingo, donde hablaremos sobre mis esfuerzos para desmantelar el ICE, que ataca a nuestras comunidades, y sobre los temas de esta semana en Washington.”

On February 14, Espaillat marked Valentine’s Day with a greeting to his constituents: “Happy Valentine’s Day to all who are celebrating across NY-13! https://t.co/JEW0WsvAKB”

Espaillat has served in Congress since replacing Charles Rangel in 2017 and previously held seats in both the New York State Assembly and Senate. He was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic in 1954 and currently resides in Manhattan. Espaillat is also an alumnus of Queens College, City University of New York.
