A list has been released detailing the longest home run hit by each Major League Baseball team during the 2025 season. The compilation highlights both expected power hitters and some unexpected names who led their teams in distance.

For the New York Yankees, Aaron Judge once again topped his team’s leaderboard. On June 10 against Kansas City, Judge hit a home run that traveled 469 feet. This was his 24th of 53 home runs for the year and marked his fourth season with at least 50 home runs, tying him for the most such seasons in MLB history. The ball left his bat at a speed of 117.9 mph, making it the hardest-hit home run in 2025.

“It’s not actually a given that Judge will lead the Yankees in this category (although he has in five of the last nine seasons) but it is, generally, a pretty safe bet. The 469-footer — also the hardest-hit in 2025 at 117.9 mph — was home run No. 24 of 53 for the man who now has four 50-HR seasons to his name, tied for the most in MLB history.”

The report shows that Coors Field played a significant role this year, with eleven teams hitting their longest homers there—up from six teams last season.

Players featured on this year’s list include both established stars and new faces; six rookies made appearances, and nearly one-third of those listed played fewer than one hundred games during the season. Some players hit only one or a handful of home runs all year, yet managed to lead their team’s distance charts.

Other notable entries include Mike Trout’s career-400th homer for the Angels at Coors Field (485 feet), Nick Kurtz’s grand slam for Oakland (493 feet—the longest of any player this year), and Shohei Ohtani’s postseason blast for Los Angeles during Game Four of the NLCS (469 feet).

The range among players’ experience was wide: from those with almost two thousand major league games to others just starting out.

The annual summary offers fans an overview of which sluggers produced each club’s biggest single swing over the course of another completed baseball season.
