The May 6 Queens Borough Board meeting has been postponed, with a new date set to be announced in the near future.
"The Borough Board is chaired by the Borough President under the New York City Charter and comprised of the borough’s City Council members and the chairperson of each Community Board in the borough," explained the official statement.
The Board plays a crucial role in addressing various issues such as land use, development, public policy, budget, and other matters with potential borough-wide implications. Additionally, it hears presentations from City officials and is responsible for voting on land use questions that impact more than one Community Board District as part of the land use review process.
